HOUMA, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team holds an eight shot lead with all five players in the top 15 after the first two rounds of the Ellendale Intercollegiate Monday at Ellendale Country Club in Houma, Louisiana.
Â
The Lions shot -11 for the day, shooting -8 in the first round and -3 in the second round. The performance was SLU's best 36-hole result under seventh-year head coach

Â
Michael Landry is just one shot back of Forster at -2 after a pair of 71's in the first two rounds. Tied for sixth place, Landry was a rock in the opening round with two birdies and one bogey. th place after two rounds Monday. Mobley finished the opening round with a 74 followed by a second round 71. Glorioso shot 73 in his opening round then an even par 72 in the second to keep the Lions in dominant position.

Â
Monday was the program's best two-round result since March 23, 2015 when the Lions shot -18 in the first two rounds of the Lone Star Invitational. The Lions' efforts also resulted in just the 11
