HOUMA, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team will look to continue its hot start to the spring season Monday at 8 a.m. when it plays in the first two rounds of the Ellendale Intercollegiate, hosted by Nicholls, at the Ellendale Country Club (par-72, 7,120) in Houma, Louisiana.
 
The 13-team field includes 80 players with participants from Central Arkansas, HBU, UIW, Murray State, New Orleans, North Alabama, Prairieville A&M, Samford, Stephen F. Austin, Troy and UT Martin along with SLU and Nicholls.  
 
Logan Kuehn, Cameron Mobley, Grayson Glorioso, Charlie Forster and Michael Landry will all be back in action for the Lions.
 
The group has combined to lead Southeastern to three straight top four finishes this spring. SLU won the Colin Montgomerie Invitational on March 8, finished fourth at the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate March 1, and placed third at the Big Texan Invitational March 22.
 
Mobley, a sophomore, has finished in the top seven in the last two tournaments. The Brandon, Mississippi native placed fifth at the CMI and seventh at the Big Texan. Mobley has a combined stroke average of 72.50 in his last six rounds.
 
Landry won the CMI after shooting 70 in all three rounds for -6. The Lions' newcomer, in his last two tournaments, has shot 73 or lower in five of the six rounds he's played.
 
Forster has back-to-back top 13 performances to his credit this spring. The freshman turned in at 13^th place at the CMI and seventh at the Big Texan as he has shot under par in three of six rounds.
 
The tournament will conclude Tuesday morning with the final 18 of the 54-hole event.
