HAMMOND, La. – The 22^nd Annual Southeastern Louisiana University Coaches Memorial Golf Tournament will tee off Monday, April 11 at Greystone Country Club in Denham Springs.
 
Proceeds will benefit the Touchdown Club, the Lion Athletics Association coaches club for the football program. This year's event honors the memories of Jack Andre, Coach Tony Misita and Don Short.  
 
Andre was a four-year letterwinner for the Lions from 1959-62 and earned All-America honors in 1961. An All-Gulf South Conference defensive back, Short represented SLU on the gridiron from 1971-75. Misita had stints on the coaching staffs of SLU Athletics Hall of Fame coaches Pat Kenelly as linebackers coach and Oscar Lofton as defensive coordinator.
 
The event, which consists of four-man teams, begins with a 1 p.m. start. Registration and lunch are set for 11 a.m. The entry fee is $150 per person or $600 per team.
