HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University track and field team will host the Southeastern Dual Meet Friday beginning at 10 a.m. at the Southeastern Track Complex.
 
Southeastern will compete against the University of Mobile starting with the hammer throw and the 5k run at 10 a.m. The entire roster for both men's and women's teamS will compete for SLU.
 
"It's an opportunity for all our kids to compete without any pressure," said SLU track and field head coach Corey Mistretta. "And when you have a team as young as our, that's important."
 
Friday's meet will last until an estimated 4:30 p.m. The heat sheets for the meet are located at the Southeastern track and field schedule page located at LionSports.Net. Admission is free for fans that wish to attend.
