JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Southeastern Louisiana University softball team had its scheduled game versus Colgate canceled due to heavy fog in the Jacksonville, Alabama area.
 
After enduring a lengthy rain delay, Southeastern (14-8) had built a 5-0 first-inning lead when the fog rolled in to force the game to be called.
 
SLU will be back in action Thursday with a 4 p.m. contest at Jacksonville State. The game between the Lady Lions and the Gamecocks will be televised live on ESPN+.
