BATON ROUGE, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University track and field team will send 30 student-athletes to the LSU Twilight Friday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Carl Maddox in its final preparation before the Southland Conference Indoor Championships.

SLU will be joined in Friday's meet by nine other teams led by host LSU, Alabama, Hinds CC, LeTourneau University, Loyola-New Orleans, Meridian CC, New Orleans, Nicholls and Southern.

"We don't want to put any pressure on anybody this close to the conference championships," said Mistretta. "We just want them all to go out there and compete and get one final preparation before the conference meet."

Following Friday's meet, Southeastern will have nine days to prepare for the Southland Indoor Championships which begin Sunday, Feb. 27 in Birmingham, Alabama at the Birmingham Crossplex.
