HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's basketball team will open Southland Conference play, while the women's basketball squad returns home for nonconference action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (5-5) will open the week Thursday, heading to Nicholls for a 7 p.m. league contest. SLU returns home Saturday, hosting Troy at 1 p.m. in the University Center.
 
The SLU women's basketball team (4-3) returns to the court after a two-week break to host Prairie View Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs from their favorite Lady Lions postgame.
 
Jade Brumfield and Dijone' Flowers are Tuesday's Spotlight Players of the Game and the first 150 fans will receive trading cards featuring the Southeastern duo, courtesy of PRIDE.
