HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's golf team will continue the fall portion of its 2022-23 schedule this week, competing in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday at the RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
 
Monday's first two rounds start at 8 a.m. as Southeastern will be paired on day one with Bradley and Green Bay. The three teams will be among a 12-team field competing on the par-72, 6,565-yard course, along with host Arkansas State, Belmont, Evansville, Murray State, New Orleans, Oklahoma Christian, Texas A&M-Commerce and Valparaiso.
 
SLU closed out its most recent tournament with the low round of the day, climbing six spots to finish fifth at last month's SIUE Dolenc Invitational. Lion sophomore Charlie Forster birdied four of his last five holes and eagled the first playoff hole to claim individual medalist honors.
 
Forster, the reigning Southland Conference Golfer of the Month, boasts a 69.8 stroke average through the first two tournaments of the fall. Grayson Glorioso (74.0 stroke average), Michael Landry (74.8), Patrick Blaum (76.7) and Cameron Mobley (78.3) round out the SLU lineup for this week's tournament.

Following this week's action, SLU will close out its fall schedule at the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational Oct. 17-18 in Killen, Alabama.
