HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University softball team improved to 3-0 this fall with a 15-0 shutout victory over Holmes Community College in a 10-inning exhibition Friday evening at North Oak Park.
 
SLU finished with 19 hits as a team, as Lexi Johnson, Ka'Lyn Watson and Colleen Kulivan each hit home runs in Friday's win. A total of 13 different Lady Lions collected hits with Watson, Kulivan, Madison Rayner, Bailey Krolczyk, Audrey Greely and Blaire Bizette each finishing with two hits apiece. Watson led Southeastern with three RBI, while Bizette and Lainee Bailey drove in two runs apiece.
 
Eight different Southeastern pitchers combined to hold the visitors to three hits and strike out 10. Alyssa Romano and Cera Blanchard each threw two shutout innings, while Bailey, Ellie DuBois, KK Ladner, Chyanne Ellett, Leah Marshall and MC Comeaux each posted a scoreless frame. Bailey led SLU with three strikeouts, while Ladner and Comeaux each punched out two.
 
Southeastern will continue fall play on Wednesday, hosting Copiah-Lincoln Community College in a 10-inning exhibition at 5 p.m. at North Oak Park.
