HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana University celebrates Homecoming, as the football, volleyball, soccer, tennis and softball teams will all be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The No. 21/24 Southeastern football team (3-2, 1-0 SLC) will close out a four-game home stand on Saturday, hosting new Southland Conference foe Texas A&M-Commerce in the Homecoming game at 4 p.m. in Strawberry Stadium.
 
The SLU volleyball team (14-4, 4-2 SLC) has one home match on tap this week. The Lady Lions will welcome Lamar for a 6:30 p.m. league contest Thursday in the University Center.
 
The Southeastern soccer team (4-3-1, 2-1-1 SLC) hits the road for a pair of SLC matches this week. SLU opens the trip with a 6:30 p.m. match at UIW Friday, before heading to Texas A&M-Commerce Sunday for a 1 p.m. contest.
 
The Lion tennis team will continue its fall slate this week. Southeastern heads to Jackson, Mississippi to compete in the Jackson State Invitational Friday and Saturday.
 
The SLU softball team hosts a pair of 10-inning fall exhibitions this week at North Oak Park. The Lady Lions host Baton Rouge Community College Wednesday and Holmes Community College Friday. First pitch for both games is set for 5 p.m.
 
On The Air
Saturday's football game, Thursday's volleyball match and Sunday's soccer contest will be televised on ESPN+. The SLU football matchup versus Murray State can also be heard on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM.
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo is set for Monday at 7 p.m. The show will air weekly on the radio home of SLU Football - Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the hour-long show will feature the latest on all things Lion Football.
 
Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as the host for the remainder of the season and the show will air from Pour House on Mondays at 7 p.m. through Nov. 21.
