HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University soccer team celebrates Senior Day, the volleyball team hosts the annual Dig the Lions match, the football team travels for its nonconference finale, while the golf and softball teams close out their respective fall schedules during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The SLU soccer team (5-5-3, 3-3-3 SLC) will travel to Nicholls for a 7 p.m. match Friday in Thibodaux. Sunday will see Southeastern close out its home schedule Sunday, hosting McNeese at 5 p.m. The Lady Lion senior class will be honored prior to Sunday's kickoff.
 
The Southeastern volleyball team (15-6, 5-4 SLC) returns to the University Center for a pair of key matches with both of the SLC co-leaders coming to town. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi visits Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. match. SLU will offer the first 200 Southeastern students at Thursday's match a free shirt. Saturday will see HCU visit Hammond for a 1 p.m. match.
 
The No. 25 Lion football team (3-3, 1-1 SLC) will close out the nonconference portion of its 2022 schedule this week. The Lions will travel to face Jacksonville State Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The SLU golf team will compete in its final fall tournament this week. The Lions will be in Killen, Alabama to participate in the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
 
The Southeastern softball team has three 10-inning exhibitions at North Oak Park on tap in its final week of its fall schedule. The Lady Lions welcome Coastal Alabama Community College (Wednesday, 5 p.m.), Louisiana Christian (Friday, 5 p.m.) and Jones College (Saturday, 1 p.m.).

Sunday's soccer match, as well as this week's volleyball and football action will be televised on ESPN+. The SLU football game at Jacksonville State can also be heard live in the Hammond area on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM).
 
The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo is set for Monday at 7 p.m. The show will air weekly on the radio home of SLU Football - Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM. Hosted by Scelfo and Allen Waddell, the hour-long show will feature the latest on all things Lion Football.
 
Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas St.) will serve as the host for the remainder of the season and the show will air from Pour House on Mondays at 7 p.m. through Nov. 21.
