HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University men's and women's basketball teams continue Southland Conference play, the track and tennis teams return to action and baseball and softball host their respective season ticket pickup events during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Southeastern men's basketball team (11-11, 3-2 Southland) hits the road for a pair of Southland games this week. On Thursday, the Lions travel to McNeese for a 7:30 p.m. contest before closing the trip with a 7 p.m. contest at HBU on Saturday.
 
The SLU women's basketball team (9-6, 5-0 Southland) hopes to maintain its Southland Conference lead this week. The Lady Lions open the week with a 5 p.m. contest at McNeese on Thursday and will take on HBU on Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
The Lion and Lady Lion track and field teams will compete for the third time this indoor season this week. SLU will be in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday for the USA Invitational.
 
The Southeastern tennis team (0-1) continues nonconference play this week. On Saturday, SLU travels to McComb, Mississippi to face Wyoming at 1 p.m.
 
SLU baseball and softball season ticket holders are invited to this week's Season Ticket Pickup events. Softball's is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at North Oak Park with the baseball event following at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The latest episode of Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer is set for Monday at 7 p.m. The show will feature Kiefer and host Allen Waddell discussing Lion hoops every Monday through March 14 at Rainbow Daiquiris (14384 West Thomas Street).
