HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University volleyball, soccer, golf, tennis and softball teams will all be in action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lady Lion volleyball team (0-10) will close out its nonconference schedule with a 6 p.m. contest on Tuesday at Southern Miss. SLU will open Southland Conference play on Saturday with a 1 p.m. match at Northwestern State.
 
The Southeastern soccer team (2-5, 1-2 Southland) will continue league play this week. On Friday, SLU will travel to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for a 7 p.m. match. On Sunday, the Lady Lions will be in San Antonio for a 1 p.m. Southland matinee at UIW.
 
The SLU men's golf team will open its fall schedule this week. On Monday and Tuesday, coach Jake Narro's Lions will be in San Antonio to compete in the Lone Star Invitational, hosted by UTSA.
 
The Lion tennis team will continue its fall slate this week. Southeastern heads to Natchitoches, Louisiana to compete in the NSU Lady Demon Invitational on the Northwestern State campus.
 
The Southeastern softball team will kick off its 2021 fall exhibition schedule this week. SLU will host Northwest Florida State in a 10-inning exhibition on Friday off campus at Hammond America Sportsplex.

Tuesday's volleyball match will be streamed on www.cusa.tv, while Saturday's match can be viewed on www.nsudemons.com. Friday's soccer match will be viewable at www.goislanders.com.
 
The 2021 season of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo will debut on Monday at 7 p.m. inside the Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas Street) in downtown Hammond.
