HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's tennis team will close out its Southland Conference road schedule on Tuesday, traveling to McNeese for a 2 p.m. match on Saturday in Lake Charles.
The Lions (5-12, 2-6 Southland) are led in singles play by
Putri Insani, who has an 11-3 record at the top of the singles draw this spring. The Jakarta, Indonesia native has a 6-1 mark in league competition and has won her last eight singles matches.
In doubles play, Insani and
Ximena Yanez (5-4) have been the top tandem for Southeastern.
Flory Bierma and
Annemart Kleijn (5-8) have been playing on No. 2, while
Katya Cornejo and
Ariadna Perez (4-3) represent the Lions on the No. 3 court.
McNeese (1-13, 1-6 Southalnd) is looking for its first win since Feb 28. Natalia Ballo has a team-best 5-8 singles victory. A total of 12 different pairings have combined for a 6-27 doubles record for the Cowgirls.

Southeastern will close out the 2020-21 regular season next week with four matches. The active week opens with a 2 p.m. match versus Southern Miss on Monday at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
