HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana hosts the University of New Orleans in a pair of duals beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday for the Hilton Garden Inn LionUp Beach Bash. It is one of three events this week for the Beach Lions.
 
The week's action kicks off Tuesday with a pair of duals in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, facing Southern Miss (7-20) at 12 p.m. and New Orleans (6-13) at 4 p.m. Southeastern last took to the sand March 29 against the same two squads.
 
Returning home, the Beach Lions (3-12) face UNO once again in the Wednesday doubleheader at the Southeastern Beach Volleyball Complex in North Oak Park. Admission for the Hilton Garden Inn LionUp Beach Bash is free.
 
With the completion of the indoor volleyball season, Calli Collins, Ariana Hebert and Jolie Hidalgo join the beach squad to put Southeastern at full strength. The trio join Hannah Barosh, Marisa Calvaruso, Michelle Mirarchi, Mikayla Richard, Linsey Sackett, Meagan Scuderi, Nylissa Snagg, and Eryn Wilks who have been competing this season.
 
Southeastern wraps up the regular over the weekend at Houston Baptist's tournament. The Beach Lions will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (12-11) and host HBU (4-20) on Saturday and finish up on Sunday with Stephen F. Austin (7-10) and Nicholls (0-0).
 
UP NEXT
The Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championships are scheduled for April 23-25 on the beach in Corpus Christi, Texas. The double-elimination event will feature all seven conference schools.

Fans are asked to maintain a minimum distance of six feet from others, wear a face covering over both their nose and mouth, and wash their hands frequently.
