HAMMOND, La. – With the bulk of their schedules coming up the Southeastern Louisiana, Southern and Alcorn State track and field teams used Friday as a friendly tune-up during the Southeastern Triangular at the SLU Track Complex.

SLU, Alcorn State and Southern were hampered by the cold weather as the three elected to be cautious with their student-athletes in preparation for their upcoming meets.

Southeastern will travel to the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas this coming Thursday-Saturday as the meet will feature some of the nation's best. SLU will send 19 student-athletes to the event (14 male and five female).

The meet schedule and heat sheets will be available at LionSports.Net once they are released. A full preview of the meet will be released Wednesday.
