HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana softball team will close out a five-game home stand on Tuesday, hosting No. 12 LSU for a 6 p.m. non-conference contest at North Oak Park.
Due to current health and safety protocols, attendance is limited and the game between the Lady Lions (12-10) and the visiting Tigers (15-7) is sold out. There is a limited allotment of tickets available for Southeastern students.

Southeastern enters Tuesday's contest on a four-game winning streak. The Lady Lions opened Southland Conference play with a series sweep of Lamar. It marked SLU's first three-game series sweep to open league play since 2001.
Southeastern currently carries a .285 team batting average.
Lindsey Rizzo (.420),
Audrey Greely (.385),
Aeriyl Mass (.351) and
Cameron Goodman (.302) are the team's top hitters for average. Rizzo leads the Southland with 29 hits, while Mass has scored a league-high 20 runs.
Mass,
Briahna Bennett and
Ellie DuBois share the team lead with two home runs each.
Ella Manzer has a team-high 14 RBI through 22 games this season.
Southeastern is leading the Southland with 75 stolen bases as a team. Mass (16 steals), Rizzo (15), Goodman (14) and
Kelci Bodin (10) occupy spots 2-5 on the league's individual stolen base leaderboard.
Heather Zumo (7-2, 2.18 ERA) and
MC Comeaux (5-4, 5.25 ERA) are the top arms for a Southeastern team that currently has a 4.63 team ERA. DuBois (0-1, 2.71 ERA, 2 saves) has been SLU's best reliever.
The Lady Lions will be facing an LSU lineup that is hitting .274 as a team. Aliyah Andrews leads the team with a .403 batting average, while Amanda Doyle (7 HR, 20 RBI), Taylor Pleasants (5 HR, 23 RBI) and Shelbi Sunseri (5 HR, 12 RBI) are the Tigers' top power threats.
LSU's pitching staff features a 2.34 team earned run average. Sunseri (4-2, 1.02 ERA), Ali Kilponen (3-3, 1.77 ERA, 1 save), Shelby Wickersham (4-2, 3.46 ERA) and Maribeth Gorsuch (2-0, 3.92 ERA) have all seen significant time in the circle for the visitors.
