DIAMOND HEAD, Miss. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's golf team returns to action Monday in the first round of the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate Tournament beginning at 8 a.m. at Diamond Head Country Club (par 72-6,769 yards).

The field features 12 teams including co-hosts Nicholls and New Orleans, Central Arkansas, Morehead State, Omaha, Prairie View A&M, Samford, Southeastern, Stephen F. Austin, Tennessee-Martin and Western Illinois.

Southeastern looks to build off their solid showing in the final round of the LaTour Intercollegiate Feb. 14. The Lions shot +1 for the day as a team led by senior Williams who shot a 69 (-3).Â
Zack Barrios and
Logan Kuehn as both shot an even par 72 to complete the tournament.

SLU will play 36 holes for the tournament; 18 on Monday before finishing with the final 18 holes Tuesday morning beginning at 8 a.m.
