TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Southeastern Louisiana dropped a 3-0 decision to host No. 15 Florida State on day two of the FSU Unconquered Invitational Saturday afternoon at JoAnne Graf Field.
 
SLU (6-6) was limited to four hits, as Audrey Greely, Lindsey Rizzo, Aeriyl Mass and Kelci Bodin each collected hits for the Lady Lions. Florida State (10-3) won by the duo of Emma Wilson and Caylan Arnold (3-1).
 
Southeastern threated in the top of the first, loading the bases on consecutive singles by Mass, Rizzo and Greely. However, Wilson got out of the frame unscathed by retiring three consecutive Lady Lions.
 
The Lady Lions threated again in the top of the second, as Bodin reached on a one-out double. However, Wilson retired Cameron Goodman and Mass to keep Southeastern off the board.
 
In the bottom half of the frame, FSU took the lead for good on an RBI single by Anna Shelnutt. From there, Arnold came in and didn't allow a hit to SLU for the remainder of the contest.

Florida State added a pair of insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Cameron Beal reached on an error with one out in the seventh, but Arnold retired Bodin and Goodman to close out the win.

The Lady Lions will close out the tournament on Sunday with an 8 a.m. contest versu Florida Gulf Coast.
