MOBILE, Ala. – A doubles victory and a pair of three-set singles matches at the top of the draw highlighted Southeastern's return to the court at South Alabama Saturday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
 
Southeastern (1-2), back in action for the first time since Jan. 30, dropped a 7-0 decision in its third straight match away from home. South Alabama (3-0) won the doubles point and then swept through singles play to remain undefeated this spring.
 
"We played hard today against a very talented South Alabama team," Southeastern head coach Jason Hayes said. "I was really pleased with a very good doubles win."
 
SLU's Putri Insani and Ximena Yanez (2-1) earned a 7-5 victory over USA's Yu Fujoka and Mika Pasanen on the No. 1 court. The Jaguars rallied to take the doubles point with 6-1 wins on courts 2 and 3.
 
South Alabama earned straight-set wins on the bottom four singles courts. On No. 1, Insani pushed Fujioka, before ultimately falling, 4-6, 6-4, 10-6. Southeastern's Polina Sleptsova also took a one-set lead, before Cami Moreno rallied for a 1-6, 6-4, 10-3 win on No. 2.

SLU is scheduled to travel to UL Lafayette on Monday for a 12 p.m. match with the Ragin' Cajuns.
