HAMMOND, La. – Playoff football returns to Hammond, America, while the Southeastern Louisiana University basketball teams continue nonconference play during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lion football team (8-3) will return to the NCAA FCS playoffs for the fourth time in school history. SLU welcomes Florida A&M to Strawberry Stadium for a 6 p.m. first round game on Saturday.
 
Season ticket holders, as well as faculty and staff will have until Tuesday at 4 p.m. to purchase their tickets through the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office. Starting Wednesday at 9 a.m., the remaining allotment will be made available to the public.
 
Ticket office hours this week will be Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office number is (985) 549-5466 and the office is located on the first floor of West Stadium.
 
Prices for Saturday's contest are as follows:
- Chairbacks: $40
- Reserved bench: $26
- Student tickets (ID required): $8 *restricted section 
- Student companion: $13
 
The SLU men's basketball team (2-2) will open the week with a 7 p.m. home contest on Monday versus Ecclesia College in the University Center. Southeastern will then head to Ft. Myers, Florida to compete in the Hilton Garden Inn FGCU Invitational. Tournament action will open on Friday with a 3:30 p.m. contest versus Purdue Fort Wayne. The Lions face Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday at 6 p.m., before closing the tournament versus Western Michigan at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
 
The Southeastern women's basketball team (2-2) hosts a pair of games this week. On Wednesday, SLU welcomes UL Lafayette for a 7 p.m. contest in the University Center. On Saturday, Utah State visits for a noon matchup. Saturday's game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m., but was moved up an hour to allow fans to comfortably attend both the women's basketball game and that evening's playoff football contest.
 
Wednesday is Community Night at the UC and fans will have the opportunity to get posters autographed by and take pictures with the Lady Lions. Presleigh Scott and Dijone' Flowers will be Wednesday's Spotlight Players of the Game, while Jaylen Huderson and Daija Harvey will be Saturday's Spotlight Players of the Game. Trading cards featuring that day's Spotlight Players of the Game will be given to the first 150 fans, courtesy of PRIDE.

Saturday's football game will be televised on ESPN3. The football contest can also be heard in the Hammond area on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM and online at www.kajun107.net.
 
All of this week's men's basketball action and Wednesday's women's basketball game will be televised on ESPN+. All four men's basketball games and Saturday's women's basketball game can be heard on www.LionSports.net/listenlive.

The 2021 season of Inside Southeastern Football with Frank Scelfo will continue on Monday at 7 p.m. inside the Pour House Pizza and Beer Garden (505 W. Thomas Street) in downtown Hammond. The hour show, hosted by fourth-year Lion head coach Scelfo and Allen Waddell, can be heard on Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM, as well as online at www.Kajun107.net.
