HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana men's and women's basketball teams will play a pair of Southland Conference games, while Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer debuts during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lions (2-7, 0-0 Southland) will open its Southland Conference and home schedule on Wednesday, hosting Sam Houston State at 7 p.m. in the University Center. On Saturday, SLU travels to Nicholls for a 5 p.m. contest in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
 
The Lady Lions (2-2, 1-0 Southland) begins its league road slate with a pair of Southland contests this week. On Wednesday, SLU heads to Sam Houston State for a 6:30 p.m. contest. Southeastern opens Saturday's hoops doubleheader at Nicholls with a 2 p.m. matchup versus the Colonels.

Both games on Wednesday will air on ESPN+. Both of this week's men's basketball games and the women's basketball game on Saturday will also be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio and Lions Gameday Experience apps.
 
Inside Southeastern Basketball with David Kiefer, sponsored by North Oaks Health System and Rainbow Daiquiris, premieres Monday night at 7 p.m. Hosted by Allen Waddell, the show will air on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network (KSLU-FM (90.9), Kajun 107.1 FM, The Highway 104.7 FM and The Boss 103.7 FM/1400 AM) every Monday through March 1.
