"It was really exciting to come away from the meet with such a strong showing," said SLU track and field head coach
Corey Mistretta. "We are using these early season meets to knock some rust off after being away from competition for so long because of COVID. So when we can still come away with a handful of personal bests and another handful of victories, it's a sign we are moving in the right direction. I'm looking forward to having a couple of weeks to put some really good training in before get we back to action."
Southeastern will compete again Friday, Feb. 19 at the LSU Twilight in Baton Rouge.
