HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana women's basketball team opens Southland Conference play, while the men's basketball team closes non-conference action during this week in Southeastern Athletics.
 
The Lady Lions (1-2) will open Southland Conference play on Saturday at 1 p.m., hosting defending league champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the University Center.
 
Bren'naisa Adams and Cierria Cunningham will be the Spotlight Players of the Game for the contest versus the Islanders. The first 100 fans will receive trading cards featuring the Lady Lion pair, courtesy of PRIDE.
 
Saturday will also be Youth Day at the UC, as all young Lion fans 12 and under will receive free admission.
 
The Lions (2-6) will play a conference foe in a non-conference contest to close out the 2020 portion of their schedule. SLU will travel to Lamar for a 7 p.m. contest on Tuesday.

Both games this week will air on ESPN+. The women's game on Saturday will also be broadcast live in the Hammond area on KSLU-FM (90.9), online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive and via the TuneIn Radio and Lions Gameday Experience apps.
