Northwestern State came back in its half of the first, as Kincannon beat out an infield single and eventually scored on an RBI single by Brittney Jones. Bishop came in to retire Jordan Rains and Hailee Rhodes to keep the score tied at 1-1.

SLU took the lead in the top of the fourth inning. Sophomore
Brittney Wingate led off the inning with a single and was lifted for sophomore pinch runner
Peyton Sutton, who stole second and third. Livaudais then hit a pop up in front of the circle that Bouvier dropped, allowing Sutton to score.

Southeastern padded its lead in the top of the fifth inning. After a single by Truxillo, Sather lined a two-run shot over the right centerfield fence. Sather's team-high eighth home run of the season put the Lady Lions up, 5-1.
Bishop was cruising until NSU chopped into the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. A double off the top of the right centerfield fence by Micayla Sorosiak scored Jones to pull the Lady Demons closer at 5-2.
The Lady Lions got the run back in the top of the sixth inning. Ramon walked and stole second. Lacour then bunted back to the circle and reliever Shelby Sells throw to first was wide, allowing Ramon to score and put the Lady Lions ahead, 6-2.
Bishop nailed down the win, retiring five in a row before allowing a walk to Jones with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Natalie Landry followed with a shot deep into the right centerfield gap, but the speedy Lacour ran it down to close out the victory.
