BATON ROUGE – Southeastern Louisiana was limited to two hits in an 11-0 loss to No. 6 LSU in non-conference softball action Wednesday night at Tiger Park.
SLU closed out its regular season road schedule on Wednesday, falling to 20-26 overall. The Tigers improved to 43-8 on the year with the victory.

After Bishop struck out two in a scoreless first inning, LSU junior catcher Kellsi Kloss gave the Tigers a lead with a solo home run in the bottom of the second inning.
LSU broke the game open in the bottom of the third inning. A two-run double by junior shortstop Bianka Bell and a two-run triple by junior first baseman Sandra Simmons highlighted a five-run inning.
Three of LSU's five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning were unearned. The Tigers took advantage of three SLU errors to provide the final 11-0 margin.
SLU will close out the regular season this weekend, hosting Northwestern State for a three-game Southland Conference series.
