Fans wishing to be a part of the "Lion Fan Caravan" need only meet at Murphy's Restaurant (1700 N. Morrison Blvd.) Saturday morning to cheer on the Lions football team as they board the bus bound for Baton Rouge and their 2:30 p.m. match up with Tulane University in Tiger Stadium.

After the Lions pull out at 11:15 a.m., fans are encouraged to become a part of the caravan headed to Baton Rouge. The Alumni Association will be handing out a limited supply of car flags prior to departure. The Alumni Association, Campus Activities Board and Student Government Association are serving as sponsors of the caravan.

Once at the game, fans should stop by the official Southeastern Tailgating location sponsored by the Alumni Association and Student Government Association. Refreshments will be provided for student and alumni tailgaters. The tailgating will run from noon to 2 p.m, and will be located in Lot D (Nicholson Dr. and Skip Bertman Dr., across from Alex Box and adjacent to the railroad tracks). Fans should look for the green and gold flags outside of Tiger Stadium in the back of Lot D. For more information, contact the Student Government Association at 985-549-2296.

Southeastern fans are also encouraged to wear gold to the game instead of green in support of their Lions.

Tickets to the game are still available and can be purchased at the Southeastern Athletics Ticket office located in the University Center, Room 111, or by phone at 985-549-5466. Southeastern, Tulane and LSU students will be admitted free with valid student identification.
