JACKSON, Miss. - The Southeastern men's tennis team earned a pair of 7-0 wins over non-conference foes Jackson State and Grambling Tuesday afternoon at the JSU Tennis Courts.

The Lions (11-6, 2-1 SLC) extended their winning streak by winning all 12 of the day's singles matches in straight sets and all six of the day's doubles matches. The five-match win streak matches Southeastern's longest of the season.

In singles play, Haris Huremovic (13-4 overall record), Ilie Babincuic (9-4), Ondrej Krivka (8-5) and Julien Lausao (11-5) each extended their respective singles win streaks to five matches. Olivier Nussbaum improved to 8-6 with a pair of dominating victories, while Paul Birkett ran his record to 6-3 with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Grambling's Herve Hicintuka. Olivier Zieleniecki improved his singles mark to 2-0 by defeating Jackson State's Lionel Lovett, 6-0, 6-0. Jaroslav Trojan also won by a 6-0, 6-0 score over JSU's Jorge Franklin at No. 5 singles, snapping a four-match singles losing streak.

Southeastern's No. 1 doubles team of Nussbaum and Lausao improved to 9-1 and extended its doubles winning streak to four matches with a pair of wins. The Lions' No. 2 (Huremovic/Babincuic) and No. 3 (Birkett/Krivka) both improved to 7-2 on the season with wins.

Southeastern will return to action on Friday, when they host the University of California at Riverside in a 1 p.m. match at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
