Single game tickets for the fast-approaching 2004 Southeastern football season will be available for purchase August 2, but interested fans can place their orders now according to Director of Athletics Frank Pergolizzi.

"We are currently offering season ticket packages but want to allow fans to get their orders in for single game tickets as early as possible," said Pergolizzi. "We sold out four of our six home games last season and want to make sure those fans who can only make a certain game, can get that ticket in advance."

Those wishing to place their order early can do so by downloading a single game ticket order form located on the official Southeastern Athletics website, www.LionSports.net, or by calling the ticket office at 985-549-5466. Beginning August 2, ticket requests will be processed in the order in which they were received.

Season ticket packages are still available with order forms and pricing available on the web or by calling the ticket office for more information.

Southeastern, which returns all but three starters from last season's squad, will host a record seven home games in 2004 with the season opener set for Thursday, Sept. 2 against Arkansas-Monticello in Strawberry Stadium.
