Nedow earned the discus crown Friday at the Al Schmidt Relays, besting the 20-man field. The Brockville, Canada native threw 160-4 (48.86m) outlasting Mississippi State’s Dylan Finley (48.31m). Saturday, the Lions’ freshman bounced back with another solid performance placing third in the shot put (50-10.25-15.50m).
