Makuvire earned a spot in the upcoming NCAA Cross Country Championships with his efforts in Friday's NCAA South Central Regional meet. The Lion sophomore earned his spot in the national meet and claimed All-South Central Region honors with an 11th-place showing in Waco, Texas.
