Huston, SLU’s senior captain, helped the Lady Lions to a hard fought win Sunday over UIW scoring her first career goal from 30 yards out. Later in the match, she assisted on SLU’s second goal on a corner kick. Huston’s leadership helped the Lady Lions to an undefeated weekend on the road including a tie against A&M-Corpus Christi. The Lady Lions held on for the tie despite playing the final 30 minutes of the match with just 10 players.
