Williams narrowly missed averaging a double-double and helped SLU extend its win streak to four games - its longest in Southland play since 2008-09. In Wednesday’s 63-42 win over Central Arkansas, she finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She keyed the Lady Lions’ defensive effort in the win over UCA, as the Sugar Bears’ output was the lowest single-game total allowed by Southeastern in a league contest since 2011-12. Williams added 13 points, while leading the Lady Lions with nine rebounds, a career-high five blocked shots and two steals in Saturday’s 72-56 win over New Orleans - just UNO’s second loss in its last 10 games.
