Williams averaged 18.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per contest in the opening week of Southland Conference play. The junior propelled SLU to a 69-59 victory over Houston Baptist with a 28-point, 16-rebound performance. Both totals were career highs for the third-year Lady Lion.
