Virgil tied a career high with four touchdown passes in Southeastern’s 45-34 win over Lamar in the Southland Conference opener. He completed 26-of-34 passes for 307 yards, topping 300 yards for the second straight week, and no interceptions. Virgil engineered a Lion offense that racked up 502 total yards on the way to its second win over a 2018 FCS playoffs representative this season.
