Blackford hit .833 for the week with two home runs, four doubles and 14 RBI on the week, helping SLU to a three-game Southland Conference series sweep at UIW. She tied a single-game school record with three doubles in Friday’s 15-3 series-opening win. She had a home run and five RBI in each of the final two games of the series. Blackford helped SLU set school records for runs in a game (21), a doubleheader (36) and a Southland series (54).
