Mitchell sparked the SLU offense in its 24-17 Southland Conference victory over Northwestern State on Saturday. The sophomore hauled in five passes for 182 yards - the sixth-highest single-game total in school history and a touchdown. His 76-yard touchdown catch on the second play of the game was the longest play from scrimmage for the Lions this season. The Plaquemine, Louisiana native also set up another touchdown with a 42-yard punt return.
