Donna was the lone Lion to earn an individual title at this season’s outdoor meet, finishing first in the decathlon with 7,006 points. Coming in to the day in second place, the Boston, Massachusetts native took the lead by finishing first among his fellow Southland decathletes in the 110-meter hurdles and second in the discus. He maintained his lead in the pole vault (second) and javelin (first), before securing the victory with a third-place showing in the 1,500 meters.
