Gibson led SLU to its first Southland road series win, hitting a team-high .556 as Southeastern took two of three at HBU. The junior drove in the game’s first two runs in the rubber game as SLU pulled away for an 8-4 victory. In her first season in Hammond, the Hattiesburg, Mississippi native has a team-high 22 RBI and has a team-best .349 batting average in conference play.
