Ruffin took firsts at both of the Lions’ meets this weekend and has picked up a victory in each of his four competitions this season. On Friday, Ruffin won the long jump at the McNeese Invite II with a personal-best mark of 25 feet. That mark is the best in the Southland in 2017 and tied for the 17th best in the country. Ruffin went on to take the high jump with a jump of 6-10.75 at the KMS Invitational on Sunday.
