Bishop was dominant in three relief efforts this week, helping the Lady Lions to a 5-0 week. She struck out six in 4.2 innings of shutout relief, allowing the Lady Lions to rally for a 4-3 win over Southeast Missouri on Wednesday. She preserved a 2-0 lead with 2.1 hitless shutout innings in Saturday’s 2-0 series opening win over Northwestern State. She came in two batters into the game on Sunday and held UIW in check, allowing SLU to rally for a 4-2 win to complete the series sweep.
