Seward turned in multi-hit performances in all four games this past week, capping it off with a 5-for-5 day in the series finale at Houston Baptist. The sophomore from New Orleans, Louisiana, led off that game with a double to left-center field, hitting safely for the 22nd-straight game to tie the school hitting-streak record. Batting in the leadoff spot, he led the team in batting average and RBIs. Seward hit .688 (11-for-16) during the week and did not strike out in 19 plate appearances. His performance this week made him the Southland's leading hitter heading into Sunday with a .379 average.
