Brame helped the Lions to their best finish of the spring, as the Lions finished second at the Lone Star Invitational in San Antonio. The Hammond native was the highest finisher, carding a tournament score of six-under par to finish in a tie for seventh place. Brame's opening round 69 was part of SLU setting a tournament record with a 16-under par 272 over the initial 18 holes.
