Sather came alive at the plate to help SLU win its opening Southland Conference series at Abilene Christian. In Saturday’s doubleheader at ACU, she was 5-for-5 with three home runs, seven RBI and four runs scored. Also this week, Sather became the school’s career leader in walks, running her career total in her two-plus seasons in Hammond to 80.
