Set a new school record in the indoor weight throw with a toss of 62 feet, 8.75 inches (19.12 m), finishing second in that event at day one of the Houston Indoor Invitational an Multi-Events on Friday night. Muhammed's mark was one of three personal and/or school records set by the Lion men's team on Friday night, fell just shy of the NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark of 63-11.75 (19.50 m) and bettered the previous school record of 18.30 m set by Dwight Womack in 2007.
