Sophomore Daniel Midyett took advantage of the first two starts of his career, going a combined 3-for-5 with five RBIs in a Southland Conference doubleheader against Lamar. In the first game he produced the first mulithit game of his career. In the second game he knocked his first extra-base hit, taking advantage of a bases-loaded situation to drive in three
runs.
