Simmons helped Southeastern to a 2-0 week with a pair of double-doubles. On Tuesday, she posted career-highs of 24 points and 19 rebounds in an 83-53 rout of Mobile. The 19 rebounds were the most by a Lady Lion since the 2004-05 season. Playing in front of her hometown crowd, the Jackson, Miss. native led Southeastern to a 66-54 road win at Jackson State with 18 points and 13 rebounds. For the week, she averaged 21.0 points and 16.0 rebounds while hitting 72 percent of her field goal attempts.
