In her first collegiate competition, Kriem posted a combined 5-1 mark in singles and doubles play at the Ragin' Cajun Women's Tennis Classic. The Stuttgart, Germany native teamed with fellow freshman Regina Nychytailova to win the top flight of the doubles draw. In singles action, she shook off an opening round loss to win the consolation bracket of the singles draw.
