In her lone start of the week, Morse tossed a complete-game six-hit shutout to help Southeastern to its first Southland Conference victory of the season. The Lady Lions blanked Southland Conference leader McNeese State, 4-0, to hand the Cowgirls their first league loss of 2012. The shutout was the second of the season for the Ponchatoula native.
