Grover beat out fellow Lion T.J. Herbert Saturday to take home a conference title in the men’s 200-meter dash at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships. Grover turned in a time of 21.50 seconds, besting Herbert by less than half a second for the individual title and equaling the school’s indoor record he set in January. Grover finished third in the men’s 60-meter dash (6.80) and anchored the 4x400-yard relay team (3 minutes, 18.73 seconds) to a second place finish. Joining Grover on the relay team was Herbert along with freshmen Shaquell Windley and Abram Taylor.
